There is a potential for revival when healing comes
ISA 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound;
LUKE 4:18, 19
The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
We’re under a mandate from God. We need ministers and ministries that are strong enough to pull you up without pulling them down!
By the anointing of God we need, preaching and healing! Physical, mental and spiritual healing is needed!
The cripple lay outside the gate called beautiful
Preach the gospel to the poor preach deliverance to the captives, good tidings unto the meek
Heal Broken Hearted, Blind and Bruised
Acts 3:2-9
And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
People are lame and halt.
A man usually falls the way he is leaning, there’s one way to stand but hundreds of ways to fall.
The church needs to get on it’s feet so it doesn’t have to be carried about because of the lameness in the midst.
There is a potential for revival, when healing comes!
Acts 4:4
Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
We’re not going to leave here lame if we take hold of God tonight and know that all things are possible tonight in the name of Jesus.
Sometimes the gifts and the ministry develop, quicker then the character of the man and he can’t stand.
He has the message, he can memorize scriptures, he can move crowds but sometimes he has a problem with the truth, Lame folks have a problem with weakness.
He’s a lame man problem with money, truth, responsibility he’s barren.
Samson had a gift but he had a problem, He could not be trusted with, the opposite sex or alone in a motel room.
Judges 16:3
And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put [them] upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that [is] before Hebron.
Samson could spend the night in a harlots’ house and still get under the gates of Gaza and carry the doors with the two posts with them to a hill before mount Hebron and say any of you boys want to try it!
The man, like Sampson was lame, Samson was broken down by immorality!
The lame man had to be carried. The church shouldn’t have to be carried because of lameness.
Your only hope sir ma’am is the ministry of Jesus Christ!
When the preacher pours it on a little strong you ought to give God thanks and praise him for loving you enough that the truth that delivers from the world the flesh and the devil is coming to you.
Whatever you do in this life, the chances are your sons and daughters are going to do it better then you did! FOR BETTER OR WORSE! Whether you be saint or sinner or hypocrite!
We need a move of God to bring healing into the Church, our families and our individual lives.
A lame ministry cannot pick up the sinners who drag themselves through the doors of the Church looking for Hope, Help to get there lives right with God!
You ought to ride with the preacher when comes to this sacred desk with a word of deliverance and healing.
Christ said, The Spirit is upon me to, preach the gospel to the poor, preach deliverance to the captives, good tidings unto the meek
Heal Broken Hearted, Blind and Bruised.
You better thank God for the preacher God has put into your life!
We need to be a strong church the two fold purpose of the Church is to preach and to heal!
Jesus passed by the gate called beautiful many times and he left something for James and John to do! Church we have been left a mandate by the LORD of LORDS to be His hands and His feet and His Body in the earth!
Lameness has affected families, wives, husbands and children! God can restore the years that have been corrupted and eaten by the canker worms.
Our children and those who are lame in the Church will suffer for our sinful living and our lameness.
Pride has a certain arrogance, is full of self preservation of the flesh and boldly resists the Word of the Lord that can heal and save that which is about to perish. Lets strengthen those things which remain that are about to die!
